Baudins Master Suite

Felt unsafe and unwelcome! Positive: The room itself was comfortable and spacious. Negative: My overall experience was terrible. As a female solo traveller, I did not feel safe at all staying here. I spent most of my stay alone in the house, and the door locks are very weak and did not make me feel secure. As a female solo traveller, feeling safe is one of my highest priorities, and unfortunately this accommodation did not provide that. The property is also located next to a busy highway and quite far from the town centre. The breakfast was far below the standard I would expect from a bed and breakfast. It was entirely self-service, with bread stored in the fridge and already opened milk and juice. There was no way of knowing how long they had been open. Communication was poor. I contacted the property with an urgent request, but I did not receive a response until the following afternoon, when it was already too late. I found the response impersonal and disappointing and did not feel listened to or taken seriously. On my last evening, a group of guests celebrated in the shared kitchen until around 2 a.m., well beyond the stated quiet hours. They occupied the entire common area, making it impossible for anyone else to use the kitchen. Overall, this accommodation felt very impersonal and did not provide a welcoming or secure atmosphere at all. Based on my experience, I would not recommend it to anyone, especially solo travellers.

Had everything we needed, had a great time! Thank you very much! Positive: Breakfast was awesome! Negative: Not a great deal of parking but that was our fault as we didn’t have opportunity for carpool. Not a reflection on the management or property! A little bit loud for traffic on the busy highway but again, not much you can do as property manager!
